Applicants who are current Austin ISD Principals or who are on the Austin ISD 2023 - 2024 Principal Highly Qualified List must apply to the Principal Pool, but are not required to participate in the Principal Performance Screener.

All other applicants must successfully complete the following to be considered for hire:

• Apply to the 2023-2024 Principal Pool.
• Eligible applicants must participate in a Performance Screener. This is an invite only event based on a complete application, minimum standard qualifications acquired and the submission of credentials required by the State Board of Education. See posting for minimum qualifications.
• Applicants who meet the Performance Screener criterion will be added to the Austin ISD Principal Highly Qualified List and may be contacted to move forward through the Austin ISD interview process.

  A candidate must qualify or be selected at each level listed above in order to advance to the next phase of the process. If you have applied to a pool in previous years, you must reapply for the 2023 - 2024 pool to be considered for employment.
