Job Description:
Marriott International, a global leader in the hospitality
industry, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join
our Engineering & Maintenance team. This pivotal role ensures our
facilities reflect the high standards of quality and innovation
that Marriott is known for worldwide. As a Maintenance Technician
II, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational
excellence and aesthetic integrity of our properties, ensuring
optimal guest satisfaction across our diverse portfolio of
locations. Perform routine and preventative maintenance and repair
procedures on building and hotel equipment, fixtures, and systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
systems to ensure optimal operating results. Respond quickly to
emergency situations, providing swift and comprehensive solutions
to protect guests and assets. Maintain accurate logs and records as
required, documenting all maintenance and repair actions.
Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process
training programs. Conduct inspections and assessments to identify
necessary repairs and maintenance procedures. Collaborate with
management and other departments to improve service and streamline
work processes. Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good
communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with building
management or automation systems. Medical Insurance Certification
from HVAC or EPA Universal preferred. Certified Maintenance &
Reliability Technician (CMRT) certification is a plus.
