Job Description Job Description Immediately hiring a Tool Assistant for a large company south of San Antonio. The Tool Assistant will assist in making sure the tools and equipment are properly stored, documented, maintained, and available for pickup or delivery to job site locations. Pay is $18/hr. to start Shift is 7:45am-5pm w/ overtime (currently working 7 days/week) 14 DAYS ON 7 DAYS OFF Duties: Work closely with customer field representatives to effectively coordinate tool cleaning, repairs, pickups, and deliveries Tear down, disassemble, clean, power wash, repair, assemble, polish, and check quality Tool pickup and delivery to customer field locations Ensure tools are returned promptly and in proper condition Wash, tear down & rebuild Fortress Cyclops Setting Tools per the applicable Fortress Work Instructions under strict Supervision Report all steps of the Tool Recycling Program through company software with supervision Ensures all necessary equipment and tools are available and adequately maintained to perform all aspects of the job Assist in the delivery and pickup of tools as needed Store tools in the correct bins, drawers, or designated tool cribs Label and tag tools for easy identification and retrieval Distribute tools and equipment to field personnel daily Track tool check-outs and returns using logs or inventory software Ensure all tools are accounted for at the end of each shift or project Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies Inspect tools and equipment regularly for wear, damage, or malfunction. Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of tools to ensure safe operation Coordinate repairs or replacements for damaged tools Any other duty, responsibility, or task as assigned by supervisor Requirements: Will be tearing down and disassembling downhole tools Previous tool tracking and tool inventory preferred Available to work overtime, weekends, and Holidays as needed based on field operations Working knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems with willingness to learn Previous forklift operation and training Knowledge of basic hand tools Previous downhole tool experience is a plus Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted Ability to bend, stoop, stand, repetitively for entire shift Please call/text 210-664-2680 vipstaffing zrsat
