Must possess solid leadership skills and exceptional writing skills; must be extremely organized and have exceptional relationship skills to be considered for this position. Must have a minimum of two years PR agency experience. - Drive day-to-day management of client accounts, including planning, execution and overall project management- Drive media and analyst relations efforts- Generate new story ideas, PR campaigns and media and analyst leads- Develop and distribute pitch letters, press releases (including financial press releases), articles, CEO conference scripts and talking points, presentations and other press materials- Conduct thorough research, competitive analysis and SWOT analysis to support client acquisition efforts- Develop relationships with external audiences (media, analysts, third party constituencies, etc.) to convey client's message- Identify and secure speaking spots and award opportunities for Mercom and its clients- Coordinate conference activities for Mercom and its clients.- Represent Mercom and its clients at events and trade shows- Monitor and report on activities- This position requires you to be available as needed to meet deadlines and connect with our global team- Must be a true ambassador for Mercom, maintaining and raising awareness of the Mercom brand
