Kensington, we operate as the technology division of ACCO Brands
(NYSE: ACCO), is looking for a Regional Product Marketing Manager
to join out team.
As a Regional Product Marketing Manager, you are responsible for
Kensington s US business of the assigned product categories. You
will develop product marketing strategies, launch planning, handle
pricing & P&L modeling, and lifecycle management. You will also
establish pricing and promotional strategies to drive revenue and
market share, and monitor competitive activity & develops TAM
(Total Available Market) analysis by key category and
customer/channel to maximize sales and profit.
In Kensington, we value team work and we are highly collaborative.
You will work collaboratively with your awesome partners, Channel
Marketing and Marketing Communications teams to develop marketing
tools for successful product introductions and compelling marketing
campaigns. Additionally, you will coordinate with the amazing Sales
teams to gain placement and ensure attainment of sell through
targets. The Global Product Management team and you will work
together to establish the right products for the US market place
and analyze the customer feedback to enhance existing products.
You, the Regional Product Marketing Manager, will provide critical
forecasting feedback and establish initial forecast expectations
for new items. You will also assign category s US Net Trade Sales
and Operating Profit.
You may want to understand more about the role, these are the
* Drive the right Go To Market strategy and marketing mix (pricing,
promotion, channel placement) to ensure assigned categories meet
their sales and financial objectives.
* Evangelize the product category: support ongoing PR, marketing
and sales efforts. Attend trade shows to provide product info
assistance and participate in press events. Support sales efforts
with presentations, product training, customer visits, samples and
field support as required.
* Monitor and provide recommended real-time pricing / promotional
strategies to react to competitive actions & market
* Work closely with Marketing / Sales teams to build launch plans
and tools to successfully introduce new products into all targeted
* Monitor financial and overall category performance (NTS,
operating profit, inventory levels, POS etc.) and develop plans as
needed to ensure business objectives are met.
* Identify business threats and opportunities based on market and
competitive analysis including coordinating TAM collection and
* Communicates US market, channel and customer needs to the Global
Product team, including requests for new products, product
changes/enhancements, and cost reductions etc.
Here are the qualifications we are looking for:
* BA/BS Degree in Marketing
* 4+years of experience in product marketing or product
* Project management
* Strategic thinker, strong analytic skills
* Must be a self-starter with professional, driven attitude and
strong work ethic
* Strong organizational and cross-functional collaboration and
* Time management: ability to organize work, manage time, and work
on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to clearly communicate product, marketing and design
* Must be technology savvy Understand and be familiar with current
technology trends including how consumers use laptops & tablets for
both personal and business uses
* Ability to read and interpret financial documents such as
P&Ls, pricing analysis, inventory reports
* Must be able to develop marketing plans (launch, promotional
etc.) and lead a cross functional team to execute
* Travel 20% domestically
