Position SummaryBazaarvoice is looking for a Marketing Communications Coordinator to support content development, public relations, and social media programs. This role will execute effective media relations, thought leadership, social media, and content tactics to support Bazaarvoice's efforts to build awareness and demand for its solutions in the e-commerce, digital marketing, and adtech industries, as well as its reputation as a top tech employer.The ideal candidate must have experience with social media content creation, excellent writing and copy editing skills, an aptitude for project management, and an appetite for turning data into insights. The person in this role will be responsible for developing social media campaigns, running our global employee advocacy program, managing campaign calendars, and creating content, including press releases, blog posts, and other marketing assets. --He or she will help ensure all external-facing content and communications are consistent with Bazaarvoice's brand identity and corporate messaging.This role presents an opportunity for a an energetic, talented candidate to gain broad exposure across the marketing discipline and develop new skills for a career in marketing. The selected candidate will work especially closely with our North America and EMEA communications leaders, our demand generation team, and our creative and web leadership.Core Job Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and measure social media campaigns across a variety of platforms Coordinate PR program tactics, including press opportunities, byline publication, event participation, and company announcements Act as day-to-day contact with external public relations and paid media agencies Handle content management, incentive program, and reporting for global employee advocacy program Write, edit, and proofread a variety of content, including social posts, blog posts, marketing materials, and press releases Maintain calendars and process documentation for content and organic and paid social media campaigns Support the execution of paid social campaigns by coordinating the development of creative assets, copy, and target account lists Monitor industry and competitive news coverage, surface data and trends, and proactively identify themes and opportunities that can be used in compelling storylines relevant to Bazaarvoice's core businesses Track, measure and report on the impact/effectiveness of key social and PR programsSkills and Experience: Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, communications, or related discipline 2+ years of post-graduate work experience in project coordination, content writing, and/or social media; previous experience in B2B software, public relations, or media major plus Exceptional writing and copy-editing skills across a variety of mediums and content Strong analytical skills, with the ability and interest to turn data into insights, reports, and content Knowledge of social media and web analytics platforms a plus, including Trello, Hootsuite, Trackmaven, WordPress, and Google Analytics Intellectual curiosity and a desire to grow one's career in the marketing discipline Obsessive attention to detail and excellent project management skills Collaborative work style; ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams Proactive communicator; able to comfortably communicate plans to marketing leadership, as well as other stakeholders/leaders within the organizationAbout Bazaarvoice--Bazaarvoice connects brands and retailers to consumers, so that every shopping experience feels personal.
