Job Description:

The Associate Director, Segment Marketing will serve an integral function on the marketing management team, driving a team across all the market segments we serve to deliver on aggressive MQL and pipeline goals. This position will facilitate the collaboration between the segment marketing managers and sales teams to inspire and drive the team to achieve goals across all segments (legal, retirement and health). Close collaboration with Marketing execution, BI, Research and Pricing leadership. Ultimately this role will drive segmentation team to initiate and enhance the quality of performance across both internal (product marketing assets) and external (integrated campaigns) the segment strategy down to each market segment we serve to deliver results, fail fast and re-imagine success, and coach and mentor the team to deliver. This role is 100% remote**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data enthusiast. Knowing the numbers drives and inspires you to make decisions and lead
  • Experience leading teams to deliver (and exceed) MQL and pipeline goals with the ability to think broadly and also roll up your sleeves as a player/coach
  • Creative approach to encourage and educate team(s) to inspire new ways to surprise and delight prospects and customers and drive demand for our expert solutions
  • Proven experience with deep segmentation and targeting to optimize performance
  • Strategic Planning and strong prioritization capabilities
  • Content management experience across mediums
  • Excellent attention to detail to manage and track budget across multiple cost centers, analyze and allocate spend shifts accordingly and drive to positive ROI across all non-traditional channels
  • Systems acumen to coach the team to ensure they are optimally leveraging the marketing tech stack to improve performance with a focus on cross sell, up sell and new client acquisition.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by ManagerJob QualificationsEducation:
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field.Experience:
      • Minimum 10 years in a progressive B2B environment
      • Salesforce or CRM experience, as well as experience with targeting tools (zoominfo, demand base, etc.)
      • Audience development acumen, with a strong focus on driving deeper segmentation
      • Experience working across multiple channels and managing projects and people
      • Ability to absorb and analyze data to make decisions
      • Proficient in Outlook, MicrosoftOther Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
        • Proven ability to lead a team and deliver quantitative results
        • Ability to work well in a matrixed organization and effectively manage across boundaries
        • Strong verbal and written communication
