You will perform advanced financial analysis work, which includes preparing the monthly consolidation and reporting of the Company's financial results, preparing supporting documentation for annual reports, performing a vital role in the annual consolidated group audit, and completing statutory reporting requirements. This position researches and provides accounting guidance to the business, updating company accounting and reporting policies, and researches new and proposed accounting standards. You will interact with employees of all levels across various business units. You will to demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail and desire to learn.

The position is located in the Corporate Office in Round Rock, Texas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The position incumbent is expected to perform the following essential duties and responsibilities of the position with reasonable accommodation:

Prepare the monthly consolidation process and reporting by:Reviewing intercompany balances and preparing elimination entries.Prepare adjusting journal entries necessary to consolidate subsidiary results in accordance with U.S. GAAP and Trellis policies and procedures.Prepare account reconciliations with the proper supporting documentation.Prepare monthly financial statements, including consolidated balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows. Maintains support for financial statements and ensures completeness and accuracy.Performs financial analysis at both a consolidated level and by entity, identifying and addressing variances relative to trends and budget.Prepare monthly account variance analyses and communicating significant transactions.Assist with the annual external reporting process by preparing schedules, analyses, and other supporting documentation for the financial statements and footnotes.Provide support to external auditors during interim reviews and audits by coordinating audit requests, managing the flow of information and documentation, and preparing various schedules and technical accounting memos.Research and document technical accounting matters; periodically consulting external auditors.Assist in the development, implementation, and documentation of financial controls, policies, and procedures.Assist with various ad-hoc projects, including: Completing regulatory statistical reporting forms.Prepare financial statements for individual subsidiaries.Provide analysis and assistance to various departments related to consolidated balances.Assist with researching complex accounting issues. Improve effectiveness and efficiencies in accounting and finance reporting and compliance.Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Support other functions and responsibilities of the department and assist with special projects as necessary. Must be available to work flexible hours. Is innovative and has a sense of urgency to produce quality work product. Readily adapts to change in the work environment and manages competing demands.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong technical U.S. GAAP skills including: complex consolidations, purchase accounting and equity method accountingHigh level of proficiency in MS Excel and WordExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstration of strong interpersonal and communication skills, accuracy, initiative, attention to detail, and analytical problem solvingStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize with minimal supervisionStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret business and regulatory documentsResults-driven, high-energy team player that approaches challenges in a fast moving and high-pressure environment with enthusiasmProven ability to identify and recommend process efficienciesCommitment to life-long learning, personal and professional developmentKnowledge of NetSuite, Ad Hoc Analysis preferredQualifications:

Education

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred: Master's Degree in Accounting or CPA

Experience

Required:Minimum 5+ years progressive accounting/audit experiencePreferred:Public accounting experience or SEC reporting experience Relevant experience within a large, multi-national, complex corporate organization related to consolidations Experience working with NetSuite or similar accounting softwarePhysical and Mental Demands:Occasionally must move about inside the office.Occasionally may provide presentations and services to various management and employees in a variety of business and work settings.Repetitive motion.
