Position Summary We are seeking a professional, detail?oriented
Front Desk Medical Assistant to support daily clinic operations.
While this is primarily a front?office role, the MA may be asked to
assist in the back office. The ideal candidate is organized,
dependable, and experienced in managing administrative and
patient?facing responsibilities in a medical setting. Key
Responsibilities Answer incoming patient calls in a professional
and courteous manner. Perform insurance verification for all
scheduled patients. Complete prior authorizations accurately and in
a timely manner. Manage patient charts, ensuring accuracy and
proper documentation. Handle patient check?in and check?out
processes, including updating demographic and insurance
information. Support clinic flow by coordinating with clinical
staff when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient front
desk environment. Occasionally assist in the back office as needed
Required Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (MA) required.
Verified copy of high school diploma or GED required. Active
BLS/CPR certification. Prior experience with insurance
verification. Must be comfortable working in a colon and rectal
specialty environment. Strong, professional communication skills.
Computer?savvy with the ability to learn systems quickly.
Experience with Athena EMR Able to take direction, accept feedback,
and work collaboratively with the clinical team. Preferred
Attributes Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast?paced clinic environment. Positive,
professional attitude with excellent patient service skills. Job
Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of
New Braunfels, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position
is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some
benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of
employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to
