The Sr. Administrative Assistant role will provide support to senior leaders in the UnitedHealthcare Growth office, including the SVP of Growth and Strategy, the President of Markets for our Individual and Family Plans business and their respective teams. This role provides critical support including travel arrangements, maintaining calendars, tracking expenses, coordinating business segment liaison duties and other duties as assigned. This role is based in the Minnetonka, MN office or Remote.



If you are located within Minnetonka, MN area you will have the flexibility to work hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) as you take on some tough challenges.



Primary Responsibilities:


  • Maintain calendars and coordinate meetings
  • Create and prepare meeting materials (PowerPoint decks, agendas) and ensure distribution to appropriate individuals in a timely manner
  • Schedule, coordinate, and set up resources and technology (conference rooms, food, Telepresence) needed for meetings/events
  • Make travel arrangements (airline, hotel, ground transportation, office space assignment)
  • Host, coordinate, and facilitate meetings/external events as needed
  • Prepare and format office documentation (proposals, letters, spreadsheets, reports) needed for various audiences
  • Post documents (meeting notes, PowerPoint decks) onto relevant systems (SharePoint) and communication boards
  • Maintain and distribute lists and documents as needed (organizational charts, email, distribution lists, contacts)
  • Monitor and oversee internal office communications (email, calendar, phones) for internal team members and take appropriate action, as needed
  • Ensure employees/contractors receive access and guidance with office operations
  • Perform Business Segment Liaison (BSL) activities, as needed (hardware/software acquisition/disposal, new employee onboarding, transfers, terminations)
  • Place supply orders using internal processes and pre-approved vendors
  • Maintain sensitive or confidential information in accordance with internal policies and procedures
  • Establish relationships and collaborate with internal and/or external resource personnel to facilitate office operations
  • Provide coverage for internal team members as needed

    Required Qualifications:


    • High School Diploma/GED
    • 2+ years of experience supporting senior leaders in an administrative capacity in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Experience successfully managing multiple priorities




      Preferred Qualifications:


      • Bachelor's degree
      • Experience as a Business Segment Liaison (BSL) coordinating office moves including hardware and software requisitions, travel arrangements, new hire onboarding and other office management responsibilities
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Visio, SharePoint

        California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The hourly range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $18.80 to $36.78.
