NotesThis position is expected to work remotely. Needs to be able
to come into the downtown Austin office if need
arises.PurposeProvide Dell Medical School departments purchasing,
accounting, and logistical support. The Office of Finance provides
central support to the 27 DMS departments for purchasing and
payment processes.Responsibilities
- Create Purchase Orders for Dell Medical School
departments.
- Process UT Market Purchase Orders for Dell Medical School
departments.
- Process pro-card vouchers for Dell Medical School
departments.
- Process financial transactions for the Dell Medical School
including, but not limited to, travel authorizations, travel
reimbursements, payment vouchers and vendor setups.
- Assist with educating other DMS departments about purchasing
rules and regulations.
- Other related duties as assigned.Required
QualificationsBachelor's degree and one year of related experience
OR, high school diploma/GED, and five years of related experience.
Prior experience with financial reimbursement and/or purchasing
systems. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced
environment with minimal guidance. Excellent verbal and written
communication skills with proven ability to effectively communicate
with all levels of management and respond to faculty and staff
tactfully, clearly, and concisely. The Dell Medical School is

QualificationsExperience with and knowledge of UT policies,
procedures and systems including DEFINE, Point Plus, and UT Market.
Experience with business support functions in a university academic
department or executive office.Salary Range$38,000 + depending on
qualificationsWorking Conditions
- Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
- Occasional weekend, overtime and evening work to meet
deadlines.
