August 31, 2023. This assignment is located at the JJ Pickle
Research Campus.PurposeTemporary additional assistance is needed in
the Purchasing Department at the Bureau. We are losing one FTE due
to retirement and have yet to fill our open
requisition.Responsibilities
- Assist with purchasing and receiving activities. Performs
purchasing, receiving, and reconciliation activities for the
procurement of supplies, materials, equipment and services
utilizing the Bureaus internal Purchasing System.
- Register Bureau of Economic Geology employees for conferences,
job-related classes, and memberships and licenses. Manage Bureau
Supply Closet and data entry reconciliation for supply
chargebacks.Required QualificationsHigh school graduation or GED.
Three years of clerical experience, including one year of
experience at the Senior Office Assistant level.Preferred
Qualifications3 years experience in UT purchasing.Hourly
