provide professional administrative support for the Learning
Enhancement and Academic Progress (LEAP) Center's goals and
objectives.Responsibilities
- Perform simple to advanced administrative support duties for
faculty and LEAP staff. Other duties include filing (hardcopy &
digital), mailing, sorting, tracking forms, scanning,
administrative information collection and compilation.
- Prioritize work based on department rubrics. Communicates
directly with internal/external customers. Provides key support in
maintaining all faculty workrooms, including equipment maintenance
and repair scheduling. Provides cost-effective management of
workrooms using inventory par levels. Restocks supplies in all
classrooms, study rooms, and designated student areas weekly.
Manage ID badge system including requirements, maintenance, and
supplies. Schedules annual preventative maintenance and cleaning.
Schedules student ID photos in collaboration with Student Services
department.
- Supports LEAP director initiatives, programs and department
activities scheduling. Capable of independent work, creative with
an eye for departmental productivity and efficiency. Back-up for
all LEAP student/faculty support activities, merchandising, and
marketing. Provides daily coverage for lobby desk breaks. Required
QualificationsHigh school graduation or GED, some higher education
or college degree preferred. Three years of experience with office
administrative clerical procedures and functions. Professional
demeanor with excellent customer service skills, time management,
and initiative. Recognizes and seeks clarification when needed with
the ability to work as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft
Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Publisher), Adobe forms,
ability to work with PC or Mac, excellent keyboard skills,
attention to detail, and comfortable learning new technology.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as
appropriate.Preferred QualificationsAbility to format documents
using APA, AMA, or MLA, familiarity with the Canvas Learning
Management System, and Qualtrics Survey Software is preferred but
not required.Salary Range$35,000 - $42,000Working ConditionsTypical
Office EnvironmentWork ShiftWork week hours are Monday - Friday,
8am - 5pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
