The H-E-B Center at Cedar Park delivers fun, family entertainment including sports, concerts and family shows among other events, bringing energy, excitement, and new business to the Cedar Park, Austin and Central Texas area. H-E-B Center is home to the Texas Stars, AHL team of the Dallas Stars, and the Austin Spurs, NBA Development League team of the San Antonio Spurs.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assists the Box Office Manager in overseeing all aspects of Box Office operations by performing the following responsibilities and others that may arise:

  • Serves as main Box Office contact for hockey, basketball, concerts and family shows; overseeing ticket sellers, inventory control and ticket issue resolution
  • Assists the Box Office Manager with overseeing, instructing, and training ticket sellers as to the proper selling procedures
  • Assists the Box Office Manager with monthly scheduling of part-time staff
  • Assists with maintaining a line of communication between the Box Office, patrons, ushering, and security by providing patrons assistance with seating or ticket issues, and assisting ushers and security staff with seating and crowd control
  • Operates the Box Office window as needed during day time hours, assisting guests with ticket purchases
  • Assists with financial reporting functions by ensuring full and accurate accountability for all ticket sales
  • Maintains accurate count of tickets sold, money received from ticket sellers and change bank
  • Adheres to ticketing and event control procedures
  • Processes group sales orders, ticket requests and internal complimentary ticket requests for all events
  • Assists in establishing a will call process and ensuring proper accountability for all will call ordersSKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelors degree or Associate degree preferred
    • A minimum one year of experience working with Ticketmaster Host and/or Archtics is preferred
    • A minimum one year of customer service related work is preferred
    • Possess a team oriented attitude, relationship building, professional demeanor and attitude
    • Requires working efficiently and effectively with the Box Office Manager, Director of Event Services, General Manager and other contacts within the organization
    • Experience with computer processing and spreadsheet programs preferably Microsoft Office software
    • Work requires the ability to read reports, audits and directions
    • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, extensive customer service skills
    • Demonstrated work ethic with an innate sense of urgency and tenacity
    • Strong ability to adapt to changes, work effectively under pressure and produce accurate results in a fast paced environment
    • Due to the nature of our industry this position requires working nights, weekends and holidays as necessaryPhysical Demands:
