This job consists of conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. This Staff Analyst role, which is located in the Austin, Texas, is a permanent employment opportunity. A dynamic team has an opening for a business partner skilled in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management to join their ranks.What you get to do every day- Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support- Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are executed properly- Look over performance to date while assessing potential opportunities and risks- Flexible individuals comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations- Drive P& L forecasting and Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis- Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending- Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required- Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, strategic resource allocation and prioritization, and event tracking and execution- Collaborate with the Accounting team on the monthly and quarterly financial close process- Track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations to ensure business partners handle their resources r- Produce and manage forecasting reports
