LHH (formerly Accounting Principals) is seeking an accounting specialist in Austin, Texas. Our client is a trusted real estate company with tons of opportuity to grow.. Strong communication and attention to detail are required to work with this team. Knowledge of property management and/or real estate accounting is required..
Job Responsibilities
Responsibility for keeping track of bookkeeping needs, including journal entries, financial reports, and tracking expenses
Review general ledger coding to ensure expenses are accurately recorded by account and department in the correct accounting period
Use Excel to develop reports and track cost forecasting for business needs
Adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as the business expands
Qualifications
3-5 years of accounting experience in real estate/property mangement
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance-prefered but not required
Knowledge of Property Management software (Yardi, Appfolio, etc.)
Strong data entry and record keeping experience
Attention to detail and strong communication, time management and organizational skills
