Job Description:
Summary of Job:Our Senior Accountant is responsible for
performing complex accounting needs for Digital Pharmacist and
related entities. Duties include assuming a leadership role to
guide accounting personnel in daily tasks, reviewing financial data
to make forecasting decisions and communicating with Executives
about financial strategies.This position will be based out of our
HQ in Austin, TX. Description of Job Duties:
Recommend ways to reduce costs and
enhance revenuePrepare documentation for External AuditorsAnalyze
financial statements for discrepancies and alert the Supervisor if
necessaryCoordinate semi-annual audits and assist the Supervisor in
running auditsReconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate
reporting and ledger maintenance, including making journal
entriesPrepare weekly and monthly financial reports.Assist in the
Accounts Payable and the Accounts Receivable process were
necessary. -Other duties as assigned -Required Education,
Experience and Special Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance,
Accounting or similar fieldAt least 3 years of prior experience as
a Senior AccountantStrong mathematical and analytical
skillsProficient in word processing and spreadsheet
softwareExcellent oral and written communication skillsProven
ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated
ability to lead a teamStrong understanding of federal, state and
local tax regulationsExceptional knowledge of finance, accounting,
budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles and
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Advanced knowledge
of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and
state/national regulationsExperience with NetSuite and
QuickbooksExcellent communication skillsPreferred Skills or
Experience:
Prior experience in similar role
within the Private Equity environmentCertified Public
