ID cardPurposeUnder the supervision of the Assistant Director of
Financial Aid, the Program Coordinator will provide advanced
administrative and programmatic support for the School of Law's
Office of Financial Aid while promoting the School of Law's
diversity goals and mission.Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily administrative activities of the office,
including but not limited to calendar management, room
reservations, document preparation, and processing of financial aid
payments.
- Manage and maintain the general email inbox while answering the
main phone line.
- Meet and advise students on financial aid related matters.
- Assist with marketing and communications, including developing
and distributing promotional materials, creating email content, and
other correspondence for the office.
- Assist in planning, creating, and coordinating programs and
events related to financial aid.
- Serve as a liaison with internal and external constituents,
including prelaw students and advisors, law students, faculty,
staff, alumni, donors, and community members.
- Support other administrative functions in the unit as needed
and/or directed.
- Other related responsibilities and functions as
assigned.Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in student
program administration or program coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Office, and
Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal
skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant education and experience may be substituted as
appropriate.Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in student program administration, program
coordination, counseling/advising of students.
- Experience with marketing communications, including online and
social media.
- Experience and knowledge of analytical and statistical
reporting practices.Salary Range$45,000+ depending on
qualificationsWorking ConditionsMay work around standard office
conditions. Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation, use of
manual dexterity. May require occasional lifting and moving. Wear
appropriate office attire; accept supervision. Work hours may
include occasional evenings, weekends and some holidays during peak
