Job Description: Senior Director of Corporate Philanthropy
Department: Resource Development Regular full-time, exempt Who we

when we Live United. What we offer: The Senior Director of
Philanthropy - Corporate Giving provides leadership in the
development and implementation of engagement and solicitation
strategies with corporate partners and corporate foundation
funders. The Sr. Director of Philanthropy - Corporate Giving will
create and execute strategies to raise unrestricted philanthropic
revenue from the corporate and business community in the Central
Texas region, including Travis and Williamson Counties. The Senior
Director will lead efforts to identify and secure new corporate
gifts, sponsorships and partnerships, as well as retain and grow
current relationships to advance United Way's mission. In
partnership with the CDO, this position will be a leader in driving
ambitious revenue goals to engage and empower members of the board,
resource development committee, volunteer leaders, top funders and
corporate leaders in resource development efforts. How you will
make an impact:
- Provide leadership and manage the corporate relations team
directly supervising four full-time staff
- Establish revenue goals annually, measure progress and assess
when strategies or tactics are productive, need to be adjusted or
reimagined to achieve both short and long-term success
- Further develop and manage a portfolio of top tier corporate
partners
- Direct corporate employee giving campaign efforts and organize
high ROI portfolios to assign corporate relations team members
- On a quarterly basis, develop OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)
to align corporate team giving efforts with individual giving team
efforts and effectively hold team members accountable to their
individual OKRs
- Work collaboratively with CDO and interdepartmental leadership
to grow revenue and increase individual donor base
- In partnership with CDO and Sr. Director of Philanthropy
-Individual Giving, participate in monthly finance reviews to track
revenue projections, provide data relative to corporate giving and
manage a portion of the departmental expense budget
- Develop engagement tools and products for corporate engagement
and stewardship including messaging strategy in partnership with
Marketing and Communications team
- Provide data, guidance and tools to volunteer leaders including
board and resource development committee members to help in
corporate and funder revenue generation, in partnership with
CDO
- Provide ongoing learning opportunities to ensure that the
corporate team is up-to-date on the corporate and nonprofit
landscape;

- A Passion for our Austin community and desire to make a real
impact
- Bachelor's degree with minimum of 5-7 years' relevant
experience
- Managing a resource development team, or managing a sales team
experience is preferred
- Proficiency with Salesforce, or another CRM software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suite
- Proficiency in managing meetings virtually, through Zoom or
similar platforms
- Strong problem solving skills; ability to operate
professionally under a variety of working conditions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple
priorities
- Strong team building skills; ability to work well with staff in
all departments; comfortable working with diverse groups Are you
