Join Our Community of Food People!The Vendor Ops Business Analyst EDI is a member of the EDI Procurement team and responsible to work with vendors on the testing and implementation of electronic exchange of purchase orders, confirmations, revisions and invoices. They will establish connectivity and document exchange including root cause analyses of mapping specifications and compliance for implementation to support the business needs and team goals. These implementations will assist the Purchasing and Accounts Payable departments to improve and ensure accuracy of inventory and costing of a high percentage of the company's nineteen billion dollar spend. There will be relationships with the Buyers, Accounts Payables Team and IT Operations to ensure the EDI process is used to its full advantage.This position is been determined to be "Remote Anywhere": The work is completed 100% remote anywhere in the U.S. except Hawaii or United States TerritoriesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide technical assistance to our Vendors and 3rd party providers to assure compliance to EDI specifications that result in implementation.Performs analysis of error reports to improve the success of the EDI documents.Provide support to the AP Team on invoice errors, to assure accurate receiving, pricing, payment discrepancies, minimize match pay issues, and the loss of cash discounts.Performs follow up on all production implementations to assure successful completion and all product data or connection issues are addressed.Provides support to the US Foods buyer community to assist their understanding of using the EDI features and ensure compliance.Collaborates with US Foods EDI Support (IT) team as we develop EDI partners, or make changes to existing EDI partners.Provides support to our Vendors and Buyers with the ability to prioritize and direct requests to the appropriate teams for resolution.Collaborates with the US Foods PIM team on product data concerns.Performs analysis of HPSM Tickets to determine root cause and assist in the correction, resolution, and redirection as necessary.Develops, analyzes, and reviews key performance indicators at the individual, team and department levels.Education/Training - High School Diploma or GED required. - Extensive Background in Accounting, Finance, Purchasing, or analytically oriented position preferredExperienceMinimum 4 years experience in data analysis and reconciliationMinimum 3 years experience with Customer or Vendor relations.Experience working as a liaison with internal departmentsExperience in education and training on procedures and processesKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesProficiency required in Microsoft Excel, Word and OutlookAbility to work effectively in a dynamic, team oriented environment and interact with a variety of associates (all levels), external customers and vendor community in a supportive and positive manner.Strong attention to detail and flexibility to work within an environment of changing priorities.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills; solid relationship building skills for interpersonal communication with internal and external customers and vendors.Motivated self-starter that demonstrates positive attitude and business maturity.Ability to work at computer for a minimum of 8 hours daily. - Ability to analyze large volumes of data through tools such as MS Excel.The following information is provided in accordance with the Colorado Pay Equity Act. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. In Colorado, the expected compensation for this role is between $58,300 and $77,700. This role is also eligible for annual incentive plan bonus.
